RuleRadar Privacy Policy

What data we process
RuleRadar monitors the quality of your Shopify product catalog. To do that, it reads and stores product and collection data only: product titles, handles, statuses, options and variants (including prices, SKUs, and barcodes), description lengths, image counts and alt-text coverage, SEO title and description presence, product types, vendors, tags, and collection memberships.
RuleRadar does not read, process, or store any customer data: no names, no addresses, no email addresses, no orders, and no payment information.
Where your data is stored
All data is stored in a Cloudflare D1 database. Cloudflare is our sole infrastructure provider and the only data processor involved. Cloudflare offers GDPR-aligned data processing terms for its services. Your data is never shared with or sold to any other third party.
Data retention and deletion
Your data is retained only while RuleRadar is installed. When you uninstall the app, its access to your store is revoked immediately, and Shopify sends the mandatory shop/redact webhook approximately 48 hours later — at that point every piece of data RuleRadar stored for your shop is permanently deleted. If you reinstall within that window, your rules and scores are still there.
Mandatory privacy webhooks
RuleRadar implements all mandatory Shopify privacy (GDPR) webhooks:
customers/data_request— acknowledged; since RuleRadar stores no customer data, there is nothing to export.customers/redact— acknowledged; there is no customer data to redact.shop/redact— permanently deletes all data stored for your shop.
